Who Needs Our Training?
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 can be found here:
http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2005/1541/contents/made
The Fire Safety Order requires that a competent person is made responsible for the fire safety of the premises, and has attained the knowledge to do so. A look over by the local fire services or the installing of fire extinguishers will not suffice, and certainly not be seen favourable following an inspection should a fire occur.
Yes, there are many manuals and downloadable/online guides to assist you but this will not give you a bespoke course tailored for your business and premises, you will not be able to ask questions or give scenarios to our experienced Fire Fighter Trainers and you and your employees will not be able to extinguish controlled fires under our supervision.
Examples of non-domestic premises who require Fire Safety and Warden Training are as follows:
OFFICES AND SHOPS
PREMISES THAT PROVIDE CARE, INCLUDING CARE HOMES AND HOSPITALS
COMMUNITY HALLS, COMMUNITY PREMISES AND OTHER PLACES OF WORSHIP
THE SHARED AREAS OF PROPERTIES THAT SEVERAL HOUSEHOLDS LIVE IN
PUBS, CLUBS AND RESTAURANTS
SCHOOLS AND SPORTS CENTRES
TENTS AND MARQUEES
HOTELS AND HOSTELS
FACTORIES AND WAREHOUSES
